Welcome to PuraPawnita!
I am from Taiwan and my partner is from Costa Rica 😊. We adopted our three guinea pigs in 2021 and added Bonnie to our family in March 2024 due to... foster fail!! We found passion in dressing Bonnie in warm clothes during the cold Canadian winter, and fell in love with how our pets can stay warm meanwhile being stylish at the same time, it always makes our day to see these adorable outfits! Our goal is to make other people's day better with the cuteness of your pets too ♥ !
About our name...
"Pura" means "pure" and "Bonita" means "pretty" in Spanish. Our shop name is inspired by both Costa Rican’s “Pura Vida” philosophy,
a lifestyle of how Costa Ricans cherish life’s simplest pleasures, and our rescue
dog Bonnie, a Lab-Shepard mix who loves cuddling in warm clothes. Dressing her up is one of our simplest greatest joys, and we can’t wait to share that passion with you and your pets!
Giving back to our community…
We rescued Bonnie from Manitoba, Canada, and we are proud to be supporting our local rescue organizations with our partial proceeds! We are donating $1 per order received, it's not a lot yet but as we are a small home business, we need some time to build up our base, and we will definitely be contributing more in the future!
